The SydneyJazzOpenMic.com website was created on the realisation that while there are many jazz open mic events in Sydney, some of the participants & patrons of some jams were not aware of the others. The Facebook group was created in November 2009, and within a few days membership grew to over 400 people, clearly indicating the high degree of public interest in jazz open mic events in Sydney.

This website endeavours to list all the jazz open mic events and venues in Sydney here in one place, so if you are in Sydney and you are interested in having a jam, you know where to go.
